OUR STORY . . .
We were founded in 1977, by L. Dan Johnson, who was joined by Harrison M. Hickey later that same year. In 1982, Johnson, Hickey & Company, P.C. admitted H. Pat Murchison, C. Jeff Durham and H. Finley Moses as shareholders, and changed our name to Johnson, Hickey & Murchison, P.C..
Since 1977, we have grown to serve a diverse range of business clients throughout the Southeast Tennessee/North Georgia region - ranging from small start-ups to large corporations. We have a significant concentration of clients in the construction, non-profit/governmental and assisted housing industries.
Upon the retirement of our founding partner in 2003, C. Jeff Durham became the managing partner. This has ushered in a second generation of professionals committed to developing and maintaining personal client relationships.
