Audit Supervisor

The Audit Supervisor will directly report to partners and/or managers while coordinating with additional staff members on audit engagements. Applicants are expected to effectively multitask with assignments, engagements, and direct requests/needs of client base.

Scope of Work:

  • Communicate with partners, managers and team members
  • Understand current auditing standards and procedures in accordance with accounting principles generally accepted in the United States
  • Plan and manage engagements from start to completion
  • Maintain contact with client base throughout the year; Understand client’s needs and obtain a general understanding of client’s business
  • Able to prepare financial statements/reports for audits and additional projects
  • Flexibility to execute additional tasks and duties assigned as needed
  • Participate in personal career development/education to improve skills in communication, management, and specified qualifications
  • Work on confidential client matters meeting challenging, yet fulfilling, requirements and deadlines
  • Adhere to JHM’s defined processes and procedures including the firm’s policy on privacy and client confidentiality

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related field required
  • 2-3 years of public accounting experience preferred
  • CPA or CPA eligible preferred
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Strong accounting skills required
